How wellness & play drive business success & metaverse imapact with Kyle Morrand 302 Interactive.

Season 2, Episode 9
The idea of “wellness through play” pervades every aspect of 302 interactive CEO, Kyle Morrand’s work, leadership style, and his vision for the metaverse. Heavily influenced by the work of Dr. Stuart Brown and the hypothesis that “the opposite of depression is play,” Kyle see’s that his role as an XR strategist and developer is to make more room for play in everyday activities, experiences.

Despite the levity attached to the word “play”, this playful XR-enhanced approach has enabled Morrand to positively impact clinical outcomes in difficult situations — like convincing young patients to keep up with their daily physical therapy practice.

It’s up to strategists and developers to help consumers get accustomed to new metaverse technologies, while improving their days with AR & VR—one of the best ways to get there is by creating opportunities for users to tap into the power of play.

We left this interview inspired, optimistic, and a little more playful — we hope you do, too.
